	Lake Towada This typical double crater lake is the third deepest lake in Japan. The water is very clear, and the lake has a calm and mysterious atmosphere. The pleasure boat trip will show you the panoramic view of the outer rim of the crater around the lake.		Mountain streams in Oirase Beautiful mountain streams are surrounded by the old growth forests of beech. Fourteen waterfalls are interspersed along the streams. Enjoy walking along the streams, where the atmosphere and colors are so mysterious that you may find fairies and elves.
	Mt. Hakkoda Mt. Hakkoda is a chain of mountains, including the North Hakkoda and South Hakkoda Ranges. The North Hakkoda has well-maintained climbing routes. You can also enjoy the magnificent view from the ropeway.
